King Arthur Baking School

King Arthur Baking School is at the flour company's home in Norwich, Vermont. The same site has a bakery, a café, catering and the flagship store. That means a class day can also include pastries and time browsing flours, pans and tools.

The school teaches baking only. Class categories cover bread and sourdough, bagels, buns and rolls, biscuits and scones, pies and tarts, pastry, cakes and cupcakes, cookies and bars, pizza and flatbread, and pasta and noodles. There are also holiday baking classes, multi-day courses, and a kids and camps track. King Arthur describes the Norwich site as a place for bakers of every skill level.

If you can't get to Vermont, King Arthur runs live classes over Zoom and sells on-demand video classes. It also has a second in-person school in Washington. Current Norwich dates and prices are on the class calendar. If you plan to shop the store for one particular item, call ahead, because the retail store may not stock everything sold online.
