Turkish cooking classes run by an Albuquerque nonprofit cultural center founded in 2010
Raindrop Foundation Albuquerque is a nonprofit cultural center founded by Turkish-Americans in New Mexico in 2010. Cooking is one part of a wider program. That program also includes Sunday brunches, Dialogue and Friendship Dinners, language and culture classes and a yearly Turkish Festival. This is a cultural organization first, so its cooking classes share the calendar with talks, dinners and community events.
The next cooking class is the Turkish Cooking Class at Three Sisters Kitchen. It runs on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at 109 Gold Ave SW in downtown Albuquerque. It's social and hands-on. You learn traditional Turkish recipes, cook as a group, then sit down to a shared feast with the people you cooked with.
It suits anyone curious about Turkish food who also enjoys meeting new people. The foundation's own center is at 7901 Mountain Rd NE, where it holds its dinners and brunches. It has a 4.6 Google rating from 84 reviews.
