Taste Buds Kitchen Parkville is a kitchen studio at 6265 Lewis Street in Parkville, near Weatherby Lake and the Northland. It belongs to a national franchise that began with a cupcake birthday party in New York in 2007, and each kitchen is independently owned. The brand calls itself a kids kitchen by day and an adult BYOB kitchen by night, and this location does both.
Kids are the core. Summer camps run five days, three hours a day, with themes like Bakeshop, Chocolate Factory and Culinary Travels. The Advanced Teen Camp has 13 to 17 year olds making shrimp scampi with farfalle or pad thai. Birthday parties come with set menus by age, from Pizza Perfection for young kids to Sushi & Dumplings for teens. Gingerbread house decorating runs in November and December.
