Cooking@Millie's is a small cooking studio at 340 W Chestnut St. in Louisville. It was designed to feel like a home kitchen, with eight student stations and room for about 32 people. Most classes are two-hour evening date nights, and the Kentucky angle is strong. Bacon & Bourbon Date Night and Cooking With Bourbon Date Night come round often, and Cooking With Rum Date Night offers a different spirit.
Chef Kevin Nelson leads most of the date nights, including a Date Night menu that has sold out every month for years. Andrew Kotheimer teaches pasta and gnocchi from scratch on pasta rolling machines, plus a Japanese night with shrimp tempura and three sushi rolls. Executive Pastry Chef Jessica Stauble runs seasonal macaron classes. The studio also hosts guest evenings with local restaurants like Martini Italian Bistro and Le Relais.
Classes are open to any skill level, and everything you need is provided. A typical date night costs $120 to $125 for two people. Popular dates sell out, so book early. Google reviewers give it 4.8 stars from 136 reviews.

Not if they're under 8. Parents can decide whether older children would enjoy a class, and both the child and the adult need tickets.
Cancel more than 7 days before class for a full refund minus a 3.2% card processing fee. Within 7 days there's no refund or reschedule, though you may be able to move to another class if there's a waiting list.
Public classes take groups of up to 8, or up to 10 with advance notice. Private and corporate events can host up to 32 guests.
