Calabrian-born cookbook author teaching hands-on Southern Italian classes in her Oakland kitchen
Cooking With Rosetta is Rosetta Costantino's Southern Italian cooking class, taught in her own kitchen in Oakland. She grew up in Verbicaro, a wine-producing hill town in Calabria, and moved to the Bay Area at 14. Her family still grows its own produce, makes ricotta and cures salsiccia calabrese. She wrote "My Calabria" and "Southern Italian Desserts." Both were nominated for IACP cookbook awards.
