The Foodery is Chef Daniel's cooking loft in Potrero Hill, just off the 280. It has been a place to gather and cook since 2016. Daniel has roots in Argentina and spent over 40 years cooking in California. He then went to culinary school to back up what he knew with formal technique. His classes focus on the reasons behind each step, so you can cook from your pantry instead of following a recipe line by line.
Public classes run on Friday nights and last about 3 hours. The two featured menus are Fresh Stuffed Pasta, where you make ravioli from scratch, and NY Style Pizza. Everyone cooks, then the group eats together. Public classes start at $129 per person, all-inclusive. You can bring wine or other drinks with no corkage fee.
The loft also hosts private parties and corporate team building for 6 to 20 people. Bigger groups go to larger kitchens nearby. Corporate teams can also book live online classes with a kit delivered. The Foodery has a 4.8 rating on Google from 51 reviews.
