Italian Table Philadelphia is the small cooking class business of Federico Parini. He grew up in a small city in northern Italy and moved to Philly in his 40s. He worked in bars and restaurants before he started teaching in 2016, and he teaches in Italian, English or Spanish. Classes run at his place in the 19146 ZIP code or at a venue you choose. The menus lean on vegetables, which fits a chef who went vegetarian at 18. Vegetarian Italian pairs panzanella with orecchiette and a vegan piña colada panna cotta. Classic Italian teaches green gnocchi with chard, spinach and dandelion. Meat and fish show up too.
