Little Kitchen Academy Denver Cherry Creek is a Montessori-inspired cooking school for kids and teens aged 2 to 18, at 4064 East 8th Place. It belongs to a franchise that started in Vancouver, and Anthony Andreach directs the Denver location. Kids wear chef coats and cook their own dishes from scratch. Each class ends with them setting a community table and eating what they made.
Most classes run three hours and follow monthly themes. This fall the themes are Meals on the Go in September, Bake Sale Classics in October and From Scratch vs. Store-Bought in November. Toddler's First Taste is a 75-minute class for ages 2 to 3 with one caregiver. The 4PM After School Supper Club is for ages 6 to 8. Teen Nights run 2.5 hours and cover trending TikTok recipes and budget challenges.
The kitchen is free of meat, poultry, seafood and nuts. Staff can adapt recipes for other allergies if told ahead of time. Private parties take up to 10 kids. The school holds a 4.8 Google rating from 52 reviews.
