Chef’s studio · Fort Collins
Hands-on Downtown Fort Collins kitchen where chefs coach you and staff do the dishes
Date night
The Cooking Studio runs hands-on cooking classes in a professional teaching kitchen in Downtown Fort Collins. It calls its approach "Guide At Your Side vs The Sage On The Stage." Chef instructors cook beside you and give as much or as little help as you need. Everyone sits down to eat the meal they made, and the staff washes up.
Adult classes cover themed date night dishes, specific skills and baking, plus parent-child classes. Date nights aren't just for couples. Roommates, sisters, and a parent with a grown child all fit. You cook, sip wine and eat dinner together. Kids and teens get their own classes, summer camps and parties.
Private events and team building are a big part of the business. Groups of up to 16 cook for about three hours and pick a menu with the chef, who works around allergies. You can add a team cooking competition for $100. A visiting team from Wisconsin praised chefs Dana and Malini for the menu they planned.
