Cucina Bambini is a San Jose cooking school built around kids. It has run classes, camps, parties and corporate events since 2008, close to 10,000 in all. Its staff includes experienced chefs and credentialed teachers. Kids can come to single classes, a cooking series, summer camps, home school courses, field trips or Girl Scouts cooking badge workshops. Recent kids' listings include Pizza and a Movie, Peppermint Macarons, and a Lasagna and Caesar Salad Night.
Adults have options too. Public classes lean Italian, like the Pasta Workshop with fettuccine, marinara and alfredo, or Cheese Ravioli and Chocolate Lava Cake. There are also parent-child classes. Private and team dinners run two or three hours, with menus such as Little Italy, A Taste of Thai and a Sushi Workshop. Guests cook and then sit down to eat together.
