Palo Alto franchise kitchen: kids camps and parties by day, adult BYOB classes by night
Taste Buds Kitchen Palo Alto is a kitchen studio at 2775 Middlefield Road, close to Stanford, Menlo Park and Atherton. It belongs to a national brand that began with a cupcake birthday party in New York in 2007. Each location is independently owned. The brand describes itself as a kids kitchen by day and an adult BYOB kitchen by night.
Most of the calendar is for children. Summer camps run five days, three hours a day. There is a morning camp for ages 4 to 8, an afternoon camp for ages 9 to 13 and an advanced teen camp. Themes include Baking 101, Chocolate Factory and Culinary Travels. Birthday parties come with set menus by age, from Pizza Perfection for little ones to Tasty Thai and fresh pasta for teens.
Adults can book evening classes and date nights where you cook a multi-course menu from scratch. Private parties and corporate team events are also offered. Everyone cooks at shared group tables, and every menu is nut-free.

Kids classes cover ages 2 to 17 and adult classes are for 18+, with select menus for 21+. Summer camps take ages 4 to 17.
Sales are final and non-refundable. You can reschedule a public class through the link in your confirmation email up to 5 days before the class. Optional Class/Camp Protection lets you cancel up to 5 hours before for a kitchen credit.
All menus are nut-free, and there are vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free and vegan menus. The kitchen is not allergy-free for those other ingredients, and recipes are cooked at shared tables.
Camps run five days, three hours a day. Ages 4 to 8 meet 9:00am to 12:00pm and ages 9 to 13 meet 1:00pm to 4:00pm, with early drop-off and late pick-up available. Registration for 2027 opens January 13, 2027 at 9 AM.
Close-toed shoes and long hair pulled back. Aprons are provided. Kids at drop-off classes and camps should bring a water bottle labeled with their name.
