Denver Cooking Classes brings the class to you. Owner Sarah Daulton has spent more than 18 years in Denver-area kitchens. She and her team of "Chefstructors" travel across the metro area with knives, cutting boards, aprons and ingredients. You supply the kitchen, pots and pans. In-home classes run about 2.5 hours, and the chef tidies up while you sit down to eat.
Core menus include the Italian Dinner Party with fresh ricotta gnocchi, the Thai Street Food Experience, a Mediterranean Dinner Party and a Spanish Tapas Party. A seasonal menu rotates through places like a French bistro, India, New Orleans and Mexico. Sarah is a member of the National Celiac Association. Menus can be adapted for gluten-free, AIP, FODMAP, keto, vegan and other diets.
Groups of 8 or more cook in the school's kitchen at the Southwest Improvement Council on W First Ave, which holds up to 50 guests. Team classes last 3 hours and cover knife skills and kitchen communication, then everyone eats together family style. The school holds a 5.0 Google rating from 325 reviews.
