Ellie Mae's Bakery is a Tampa cottage bakery run by Ellie. She trained in pastry school, has baked in Tampa since 2015 and still handles every order herself. Alongside custom and logo cookies, she teaches cookie decorating classes at partner venues. Most are at Raining Berries in Westchase, and she runs collaboration workshops at Board & Brush Safety Harbor.
Classes are seasonal and themed. The holiday lineup includes Friendsgiving Cookie Decorating, Cozy Christmas Nights (Christmas PJs encouraged) and Home Sweet Gingerbread Home. There's also a kids class at Bounce Zone Tampa with bounce time after decorating. Everything is ready when you arrive: the cookies are baked, the icing is bagged in the class colors and the tools are at your seat. You learn to outline and flood, then take home a boxed set. Classes run one to two hours.
Daytime family sessions cost $30 and evening classes cost $60. Private and team classes start at $250 and travel across Tampa Bay. Team classes can work in company colors and logos. The bakery holds a 4.9 Google rating from 77 reviews.
