Sucre & Sel ("sugar and salt") is the French kitchen of Florence Melin. She grew up in Paris and spent her summers in a small fishing village in western Brittany. She started the business 14 years ago, moved to Raleigh in 2017, and has done more training at FERRANDI, a leading culinary school in Europe.
Most of her work is catering, from private dinners to buffets for up to 40, but she also teaches. Her hands-on French cooking experience is booked privately for 2 to 10 guests.
