About The Art Park
The Art Park is a children's art school on E 29th St. N. in Wichita. Most of its programs are art lessons: Monart drawing, sculpture, a pre-school class called First Steps, homeschool workshops and online drawing with Ms. Pepper. Cooking is a small part of the mix. It appears as Young Chefs, one of the weekly kids' classes held on The Art Park campus.
That makes it a good fit for families who already like the school's art programs and want a cooking option for their child. Adults looking for a cooking class should look elsewhere. The teen and adult offerings are art classes and painting parties, not cooking.
Beyond weekly classes, the school runs birthday parties, field trips, Kid's Day Out, Saturday mini sessions and after-school programs at partner schools in Andover, Goddard, Derby, Rose Hill and other nearby districts. It holds a 4.3 Google rating from 42 reviews. You can reach the school at 316.683.2500 or TheArtParkWichita@gmail.com.
