About Troquet
Troquet is an event space in Wauwatosa Village, at 1409 N Wauwatosa Avenue, with terrazzo floors and a modern European look. Besides weddings and private parties, it runs evening cooking classes led by guest chefs from the region. These are demonstrations, not hands-on classes. You sit down to a four-course dinner with beverage pairings while the chef cooks and talks through the dishes and techniques.

Chef Kyle Knall, co-owner of Birch and the chef behind Milwaukee's French restaurant Cassis, teaches French in the Midwest, which pairs classic French technique with Midwestern ingredients. Chef Eric Perez, a former executive pastry chef at the Ritz-Carlton in Shanghai, leads Holiday Entertaining with a festive four-course menu. Troquet says its instructors cover pastry, chocolate, culinary arts and cheese making.
