Bellina Alimentari

Bellina Alimentari is an Italian restaurant, specialty market and natural wine bar at 675 Ponce De Leon Ave. NE in Atlanta. It also has a culinary room where classes and tastings run every week. The place takes its cue from the cafes and alimentari shops of northern Italy. Owner Tal Postelnik Baum and executive chef Brandon Hughes run a seasonal, from-scratch kitchen. They buy from Georgia producers like Riverview Farms and Sweet Grass Dairy and import the rest from Italy.

Pasta is the heart of the class program. The monthly calendar also includes chef's tasting dinners, workshops and beverage tastings. Past events include a pizza making class, a Farmers Market Pasta class and a Botanical Gin Lab. Classes are hands-on, and meeting new people is part of the point.

The private room, The Culinary Club, can be booked for private pasta classes, team building and wine tastings. Bellina holds a 4.6 Google rating from more than 2,100 reviews. It suits anyone who wants a pasta class with a real Italian market and wine list right next door.
