Six-month, one-on-one chef apprenticeship inside a working Atlanta restaurant kitchen
CASA is not a place to book a one-night cooking class. It is a career program. The Gourmet Chef Program pairs you one-on-one with a professional chef in that chef's working kitchen. Lessons happen while the restaurant is closed or slow. Between sessions you cook along with CASA's videos at home, and a second mentor coaches you remotely.
The program takes about six months and covers 20 courses. They run from knife skills and the five mother sauces to potato cookery, charcuterie and garde manger, plus ServSafe food handler training. It ends with an externship cooking for customers in a live restaurant. You can choose part-time, full-time, night or weekend schedules.
It suits people who want to work in kitchens, from complete beginners to culinary school graduates looking for industry connections. CASA says it is selective and expects you to put in the work. Each mentee's cost is set individually with an advisor. The Atlanta location is listed at 1170 Peachtree St NE, and it holds a 4.3 Google rating from 6 reviews.

About six months. It includes 20 courses, home study with CASA's videos and a final externship.
CASA doesn't publish a set price. Each mentee works out a personal plan with a mentee advisor, and CASA says there are no surprise fees.
Yes. CASA offers part-time, full-time, night and weekend schedules, and you schedule sessions with your mentor.
CASA doesn't promise one. It says many mentees find work in their mentor's kitchen or through their mentor's recommendation.
