Chef Sarah Daulton's in-home classes, planned with care for allergies and celiac
Scottsdale Cooking Classes sends a chef to your own kitchen. Founder Sarah Daulton spent more than 18 years in professional kitchens, catering and private dining. She started her own catering company, Daulton Culinary, then ran Denver Cooking Classes before bringing the same in-home model to the Valley. Her instructors, called Chefstructors, are background-checked and hold food safety certification.
You pick a menu and the chef walks your group through at least three dishes in about 2 to 2.5 hours, then everyone sits down to eat. Core menus are the Italian Dinner Party with fresh ricotta gnocchi, the Thai Street Food Experience, the Mediterranean Dinner Party and the Spanish Tapas Party. A seasonal chef's menu also rotates through places like New Orleans, India and Mexico. The chef brings the ingredients, knives, cutting boards and aprons.
Dietary needs are a real focus here. Sarah is a member of the National Celiac Association, and menus can be adapted for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, keto and more. Larger teams can book three-hour corporate classes. It holds a 5 rating from 8 Google reviews.
