Team Building with Taste is a North Atlanta venue built around corporate cooking competitions. Groups cook in an 1800 square foot kitchen, then eat together in a private dining room. The company says more than 1,500 organizations have booked it. It holds a 4.8 Google rating from 103 reviews.
There are three programs. Team Building with Taste is the three-hour flagship. Teams cook a full meal from one of seven menus, handle curveballs like a secret ingredient or a teammate pulled from the kitchen, and plate a dish for the chefs to judge. Taste of Innovation drops the recipes for a Chopped-style mystery basket and suits teams of 10 to 30 who like to cook. Cooking Up Camaraderie is a lighter session of two to two and a half hours. Teams make international appetizers such as Korean beef lettuce wraps and empanadas, and it works best for very large groups.
Teams can improvise from a pantry stocked with herbs, rubs, cheeses and bacon. Reviewers name chefs like Susan and Randy and mention the laughs. The venue also runs public cooking classes called Culinary Connections and rents its space for events of up to 80.
