What ages are the cooking classes for?

Cooking Buddies runs one group for ages 4 to 10 and another for tweens and teens ages 10 to 16. The summer version is for ages 5 to 13.

How much does a cooking class cost?

Group classes are $110 per class during the year and $90 per class in the summer program.

About Fusion Programs

Fusion Programs is an enrichment center for kids and teens on Staten Island. Cooking is one of several programs, alongside 3D art, fitness, coding, robotics and a social club. The cooking classes are called Cooking Buddies. One group is for ages 4 to 10 and another is for ages 10 to 16. Kids prepare parts of a complete meal and practice measuring, portioning, mixing, timing and serving.

Each cooking session on the weekly schedule has its own theme. Healthy Snacks runs Mondays at 6 pm, Farm-To-Table dinners run on Wednesdays, and Global Gourmet runs on Fridays. Sweet Creations, billed as the art of breakfast, runs Saturday mornings at 9. Sessions last an hour. In summer, Cooking Buddies runs for ages 5 to 13 at a lower price.
