Eat Well ABQ is a microbakery and small class studio in Albuquerque, run by Chef Evangalene. She bakes the sourdough sold for pickup at the bread cart and teaches the classes herself. Sourdough leads the calendar. There is a beginner Sourdough Bread Class, an Advanced Sourdough Bread Class, and fun spin-offs like Sourdough Cinnamon Rolls, Sourdough Pop-Tart Pie and a Sourdough Flight Box. Lessons cover starter care, fermentation, shaping and scoring, plus how the high-desert climate changes your dough.
Beyond bread, there is a Handmade Pasta Class that ends with a shared meal, a Gluten-Free Bread Class, and Dinner Rolls & Pull-Apart Garlic Bread. Public classes cost $95, and pasta is $120. Classes are hands-on and made for adult beginners. Ingredients and tools are included unless a listing says otherwise.
Private sourdough and pasta events for 2 to 12 guests start at $300 and $330 for two people, and wine is included. Corporate pasta events take 10 to 30 people. The studio holds a 5-star Google rating from 35 reviews.
