Sur La Table at Preston Royal is a kitchen store at 6025 Royal Lane with its own in-store teaching kitchen. Classes are hands-on. You team up with three other guests at a fully equipped shared workstation, cook the whole menu alongside a chef instructor, then eat the dishes family-style with your station. Recipes arrive by email afterward. Most classes run 2 to 2½ hours and are capped at 20 people.
Public in-store classes start at $49 per person, and the price depends on the class. The store also hosts private events for birthdays, bridal showers and corporate teams. Menus can be adjusted for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and allergy needs. Live online classes run over Zoom if you'd rather cook at home.
