Sur La Table

Sur La Table at Classen Curve is a kitchen store on North Classen Blvd with a teaching kitchen inside. Classes are hands-on. You cook at a shared workstation with three other guests while a chef instructor guides you, then you eat the dishes family-style. Most classes run 2 to 2½ hours and are capped at 20 people. Specialty baking classes can run up to 3 hours. Short 1-hour classes cover a single technique, and no food is served at those.

In-store classes start at $49 per person. Aprons, ingredients and tools are provided, and the recipes come by email afterward. You stand for the whole class, so wear closed-toe shoes. Most classes are for ages 14 and up, and minors must come with a paying adult.

The store also hosts private classes for birthdays, friend groups and corporate team building, with groups of up to 20. Menus can be adjusted for vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free guests. Google reviewers give it 4.7 stars from 389 reviews.
