with Laura Palace Celebrate Germany with a menu of hearty classics perfect for sharing with family and friends. In this hands-on cooking class, we'll prepare traditional dishes passed down through generations and sure to become favorites in your own home. Our featured entrée is Beef Rouladen , one of my family's most treasured recipes. I have fond memories of both my grandmother and my mother making this comforting dish, filling the kitchen with aromas that always meant a special meal was about to be served. You'll learn how to prepare tender beef rolls filled with the classic combination of bacon, onions, pickles, and mustard, then braised until perfectly tender. We'll pair the rouladen with Knödel , traditional German potato dumplings that are light, fluffy, and ideal for soaking up the rich pan gravy.
